Artistic Resume

After graduating from Kendall College of Art and Design in the Fall of 2020 with a BFA, I have been searching for interesting and meaningful work. I am always keeping my eye open for any kind of work, weather that be for an individual or for a company.

In High School I participated in taking advanced art classes and also participated in the Congressional Art Competition in Michigan under Congressmen Justin Amash. I won this competition and Congressman Amash bought my artwork. In college, I have focused on creating a diverse portfolio, participating in class projects such as animations for parts of the EPIC Project (We The People) and the Jim Crow Museum project. I had my hand in helping to create an educational card game “Powder Keg!” where I designed the rule handbook and worked on illustrations.

“Mars always brings something new and interesting to the table. She presents her ideas very clearly, and they are always very thought out. She pays very close attention to details and is a pleasure to work with. When working with clients, she’s very good at communicating and making sure that they are both on the same page when it comes to the “vision” of her client. Mars has done two album covers for me, and each one was exactly what I was looking for.”
